The Red House

The Red house is situated in Fyledalens nature reserve, which is 5 km from Tomelilla and 25km from Ystad. 

 

Fyledalen is regarded as one of the most magical places in Skåne. Dating back to the Ice Age, this beautiful forest and valley has fascinating flora and fauna, and is an ‘Eldorado’ for nature enthusiasts! 

 

Other places not to be missed, and all within 30 mins drive from the house, include Stenshuvud, Haväng, Ales stenar, and Sandhammaren. The many nature reserves encourage you to explore by foot, bike, or skis, either along marked trails and paths, or completely on your own.  

 

If you love the beach, Ystad and Osterlen boast almost 50 km of beautiful beaches with white sand and barren cliffs. If you're feeling a bit adventurous, visit the sauna at the docks in Kivik and then take a leap into the ice cold Baltic Sea.

 

For those that love golf there are three brilliant golf courses all within 30 mins drive from the house: Tomelilla GK (5 mins), Ystad GK (15 mins) and Viks GK (30 mins).
